Quality Inspector / Cable & Harness Assembly Technician for our client, a leading advanced manufacturing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in quality inspection, electronics manufacturing, and cable assembly who is passionate about maintaining high product standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting products and materials, identifying quality concerns, supporting manufacturing processes, and contributing to the assembly of cables and harnesses. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and company quality requirements.

Responsibilities:
Quality Inspection & Assurance
- Conduct repetitive inspections of products and materials against established standards, specifications, procedures, and quality checklists.
- Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials.
- Perform product inspections and record inspection results according to company procedures.
- Review assembly instructions, process documentation, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Interpret and apply IPC-A-610 standards during inspection activities.
- Recognize product, process, quality, and documentation discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Escalate quality issues to Technical Support, Engineering, or Quality teams as required.
- Assist with gathering information and supporting root cause investigations.
Manufacturing & Assembly Support
- Prepare components, wiring, and materials for assembly.
- Perform cable and harness assembly according to work instructions and specifications.
- Read, interpret, and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and modification instructions.
- Support manufacturing operations and special projects as required.
- Follow established manufacturing procedures and quality standards.
Inventory & Documentation Control
- Maintain accurate inspection records and production data.
- Execute inventory transactions and support inventory control activities.
- Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
- Record daily production and quality-related information.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in process audits and manufacturing quality reviews.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Support operational excellence through adherence to established performance expectations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in quality inspection, electronics manufacturing, cable assembly, harness assembly, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience interpreting technical documentation, assembly instructions, and engineering changes.

Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.

Experience performing product inspections and quality verification activities.

Familiarity with inventory control procedures and cycle counting.
