About the Role
Welcome Home Construction is looking for a motivated sales professional to join our growing team.
This is a sales-focused position involving outbound business development, inbound lead qualification, customer follow-up, appointment setting and sales coordination.
The successful candidate will work with both business-to-business and residential customers and will help develop new opportunities while maintaining strong communication with existing and prospective clients.
We are open to someone earlier in their sales career if they demonstrate strong communication, initiative, organization and the willingness to consistently prospect for new business.
More experienced candidates with proven sales, business-development or construction-related experience will be considered toward the higher end of the compensation range.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound B2B and B2C prospecting and cold calling.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound telephone, email and online inquiries.
- Qualify prospective customers and determine whether opportunities are a good fit.
- Ask effective discovery questions and accurately gather preliminary customer and project information.
- Schedule qualified appointments, consultations and site visits.
- Maintain organized customer records and sales opportunities.
- Coordinate customer information with internal estimating and operations teams.
- Communicate proposals and pricing professionally to prospective customers.
- Follow up consistently on quotations, proposals and outstanding opportunities.
- Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline.
- Develop relationships with businesses, property owners, property managers, investors, homeowners and referral partners.
- Assist with scheduling recurring maintenance, cleaning and service requirements for property clients.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process.
- Assist with the development and coordination of outside sales representatives as the department grows.
- Track sales activity, appointments, opportunities, follow-ups and results.

Compensation
Base salary: $45,000–$65,000 per year
Compensation will be based on:
- Relevant sales experience.
- Demonstrated sales ability.
- Business-development experience.
- Industry knowledge.
- Leadership experience.
- Overall suitability for the position.
Additional performance-based compensation is available based on results.
There is meaningful advancement potential for someone who demonstrates the ability to generate business, manage opportunities and eventually help develop and lead a broader sales team.
