Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders, deliver information about our play space, fees, etc...
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop and play area
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly
Experience:
- Some previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) such as Squareup is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working in a cafe environment
- Experience working with children
- Foodsafety Level 1 handler is a plus
