Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs
- Conduct assessments and provide treatment for patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents (MVA), orthopedic injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to promote healing and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, recovery techniques, and ongoing care routines
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and insurance-related reports when required
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards during all procedures
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Valid licensure or certification to practice as a Physiotherapist in the respective region
- Prior experience working in hospital settings preferred, especially in acute care or pediatrics
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical practices related to physical therapy
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality patient care with compassion and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while managing multiple cases simultaneously
- Must have successfully completed the PCE
- Experience treating motor vehicle accident (MVA) patients is considered an asset
