This position will provide administrative support services to the Audit & Advisory team of Crowe Soberman. The candidate must be proactive and should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, which requires a team-player approach.
Responsibilities:
- E-filing and rolling forward tax returns
- Importing trial balances
- Assembling and e-filing tax returns
- Submitting documents through the Canada Revenue Agency online portal
- Liaise with Canada Revenue Agency on various client issues as needed
- Print billing worksheets in administrative capacity as needed
- Create and prepare compilation & tax engagement Caseware files for the upcoming work
- Print and assemble compilation and tax engagement packages
- Finalizing compilation financial statements
- Saving client documents to Caseware files
- Updating task / project tracking in Mavenlink
- Managing task assignments received through a shared Outlook email request
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree/College Diploma
- 1-2 years administrative experience
- Experience working in a professional office environment, an asset
- Previous experience with Caseware, Caseview, and Taxprep is considered an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
- Must be able to work with numbers
- Well organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong prioritizing and follow-up skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to cope in a deadline-driven environment
- Available to work overtime, when required
