We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team and help deliver outstanding results on every project.
We are seeking a skilled carpenter with 5 years of experience to join our team. This position plays a key role in executing all phases of construction, from structural framing to custom finishing work.
Responsibilities
Site Leadership & Project Coordination
- Delegate tasks and provide direction to crew members
- Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and site logistics
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Layout projects accurately according to plans
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and subcontractors
Structural & Rough Carpentry
- Concrete work including small slabs and finishing
- Basic forming and foundation preparation
- Residential framing including wall assembly, floor assembly and roof assembly
- Custom stair construction from scratch
- Structural modifications and reconfigurations
- Installation of exterior doors, windows, skylights, and oversized openings
Finish Carpentry & Millwork
- Custom cabinetry installation
- Advanced architectural millwork
- Hardwood, engineered, and specialty flooring installations
- Installation of flush inset floor registers
- Precision tile installation including mitered edges and custom shower envelope cuts
- Custom siding and exterior finishes
- Aluminum bending
Trade Coordination
- Layout and coordination with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other trades
- Identify and resolve site conflicts proactively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of carpentry experience
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings
- Experience with structural framing, finish carpentry, and millwork installation
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials safely
