We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Electrician – Night Shift. Our client, a well-established food manufacturer in Brantford, is seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician to support its night-shift maintenance operations. This position will play a key role in maintaining production uptime, troubleshooting automated equipment, and completing preventive maintenance within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be a hands-on electrician with strong troubleshooting skills and experience working with industrial controls, PLCs, and high-speed production equipment.
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and production equipment.
- Diagnose electrical, controls, and automation-related equipment failures.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery, sensors, motors, drives, relays, and control panels.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Valid Ontario 442A Industrial Electrician or 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician licence.
- Previous electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with industrial electrical systems and automated production equipment.
- Experience working with PLCs, variable frequency drives, motors, sensors, control panels, and industrial instrumentation.
Hourly Rate: $44.00 - $47.00 per hour, plus applicable night-shift premium
