Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs promptly
- Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels throughout your shift
Experience
- Prior experience working as a barista or in the food service industry is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cashiering tools
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and food handling within a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of basic math for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Proven time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
