We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction, maintenance, and installation projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment on-site
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and handling basic tasks
- Perform general labor duties such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks on-site
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, maintenance, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety standards and procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Reliable transportation or valid driver’s license is required
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors
