Pay Rate: $25.00/hour (Overtime paid after 40 hours)
Schedule: Friday to Tuesday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts, includes two 30-minute breaks)
Start Date: July 24, 2026
Job Type: Short-term contract (July 24 – July 28) with strong potential for long-term placement based on performance.
We are actively seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable OFA 3 Attendant to join our team on-site in Arras, BC.
This is not a desk job. We are looking for an active, "boots-on-the-ground" first aid attendant who is visible on-site, ready to assist, and capable of maintaining safety and response standards in a fast-paced industrial environment. We are looking for a candidate with strong dependability and performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of visibility on the job site, actively monitoring work areas and remaining ready to respond to medical emergencies.
- Provide high-quality emergency first aid care in strict accordance with OFA Level 3 standards and local regulations.
- Confidently manage safety and medical documentation, ensuring accurate records of treatment logs, incident reports, and daily timesheets are completed and submitted on time.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with company and site standards.
- Work closely with site management and personnel to foster a culture of safety compliance and rapid incident response.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification: Must hold a valid, active Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA 3) certification.
- Safety Training: WHMIS 2015 certification is strictly required.
- Dependability: Strong dependability and punctuality are non-negotiable. We need a high-performer who takes initiative.
- Documentation: Diligent administrative skills; daily timesheet completion is required to ensure seamless weekly payroll processing.
- Required Gear: Must own (or be willing to purchase) and wear the following PPE on-site: Fire-resistant, high-vis coveralls (ATPV 8 cal rating), Type 2 headgear (Hard hat), Electrical-rated safety boots, Safety glasses and gloves
