Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Denwest Dental Clinic, located in the heart of the city. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive top-notch care and support during their visits, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering excellent dental services.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures and examinations
- Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take and develop X-rays as needed
- Provide chairside assistance during treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as required
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Proficiency in EMR systems, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices
- Experience with X-ray procedures and four-handed dentistry techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
