Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, restaurant management, and team leadership. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards, and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings, along with proficiency in food preparation and POS systems, is highly desirable. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage operations to ensure smooth service delivery
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems
- Lead, motivate, and train staff to uphold service excellence and food safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow and improve service delivery
- Assist in restaurant management tasks including scheduling, reporting, and maintaining cleanliness and inventory.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cash handling transactions
- Knowledge of food industry regulations and restaurant operations management
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for team management and guest interaction
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus for versatile service skills.
