Summary
We are seeking a Food Server to join our lively team at our neighborhood pub. In this role, you will be serving food to customers and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a vibrant community-focused establishment that values hospitality and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Take food orders.
- Operate POS systems
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas following health regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve guests promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain knowledge of menu items to assist guests with their selections.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the pub
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available days, evenings and weekends for 4/5 shifts a week
