Job Summary
Jackson Roofing GTA Inc. are seeking a skilled Roofing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing materials and installation and repair techniques.
Duties
- Troubleshoot leaks
- Repair leaks as identified
- Install new roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, or membrane roofing
- Repair and replace damaged or worn roofing components
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of harnesses, ladders, and protective gear
Skills
- Experience in construction or carpentry with a focus on roofing projects
- Strong roofing skills with knowledge of general building practices
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights
- Knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and waterproofing methods
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail for quality workmanship

Pay: $62,500.00-$72,500.00 per year
