Overview
Certified Building Systems (CBS) is a full-service mechanical organization based in Mississauga, Ontario, established in July 2010. We specialize in comprehensive HVAC maintenance services, repairs and energy management – AI assisted with KOIOC solutions across a wide range of industry sectors throughout Canada. We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team.
Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work effectively
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and construction materials to complete projects
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for installation and repairs
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary maintenance
- Collaborate with team members on construction or renovation projects involving carpentry, assembly, or HVAC components
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
- Valid 306A Licensed Plumber (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experienced as a Plumber
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance
- UA Local 787 union members are welcome to apply
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, power tools, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications
- Valid Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record (preferred)
- Experience with renovation and remodeling projects is an asset
- Welding experience and the ability to fabricate and install piping systems are considered strong assets.
