Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stair Builder Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves constructing, assembling, and installing staircases with precision and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, use of hand and power tools, and familiarity with manufacturing or construction environments. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of skills to create high-quality stair systems for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for stair assembly projects
- Assemble stair components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials
- Use machining and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and modify parts for precise fitting
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure accuracy and durability
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and uphold safety regulations
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in stair assembly and install , and stair and rail fabrication processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and wood working/ milling equipment effectively and safely
- Experience operating forklifts within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of construction principles related to stair building and installation
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
