Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with restaurant POS systems are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures and cash handling protocols
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently
- Address guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent customer service and guest support
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations
Requirements
Saturday and Sunday (8 am to 3 pm)
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team within a hospitality setting
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Professional appearance and positive attitude towards guests and team members
