Sales Manager – Aurora
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Sales Manager with a strong focus on revenue generation and strategic relationship development. This position serves as the primary sales lead for the property, responsible for advancing the hotel’s business performance and ensuring continued market success.
In addition to overseeing sales efforts for the assigned property, the Sales Manager will contribute to portfolio-wide initiatives within the Business Transient segment and support the broader sales strategies and priorities of the entire group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all sales activities for the property, with emphasis on the Business Transient market
- Develop, negotiate, and manage corporate accounts, including Local Negotiated Rate (LNR) programs and other key segments
- Conduct proactive prospecting, account research, and targeted outreach to drive new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships through regular sales calls, presentations, client visits, and participation in business events
- Develop and implement sales strategies designed to increase occupancy, ADR, and overall revenue
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and travel‑industry developments to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with sales colleagues across the group to share leads, align sales efforts, and support joint sales initiatives
- Cross‑sell and appropriately refer business across the portfolio based on client needs and product alignment
- Maintain accurate sales records, account documentation, activity logs, and performance reporting
- Represent the hotel at industry functions, local business events, trade shows, and networking activities as required
- Work closely with hotel operations and revenue management to ensure alignment of sales activities with service delivery and pricing strategies
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of hotel sales experience, with demonstrated strength in the Business Transient segment
- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities, negotiate corporate agreements, and manage key accounts
- Solid understanding of local corporate markets, travel patterns, and competitive dynamics
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently while actively contributing to a multi‑property sales framework
- Experience with sales systems and reporting tools
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Professional demeanor with a strong focus on client service and relationship management
Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
