Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting a Stone Fabricator for a well-established fabrication facility in the stone, tile, and terrazzo industry. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, precision craftsmanship, and being part of a team that produces high-quality finished products.
The role offers a convenient early morning schedule (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)—perfect for those who prefer starting early and having their afternoons free for personal time, family, or other commitments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform hole coring operations using a milling machine on stone and tile materials
- Use hand grinders and sanding belt tools to shape, smooth, and finish stone products
- Apply specialized adhesives to stone and tile components during fabrication
- Work closely with team members to ensure projects meet design specifications and production timelines
- Conduct quality checks to verify finished pieces meet required standards
- Safely move and position stone slabs using overhead cranes and JIB systems, placing them onto A-frame storage buggies
- Keep tools and machinery in good working condition and report maintenance needs when necessary
- Follow all workplace safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized shop floor
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in stone fabrication, manufacturing, or a related production environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect and verify product quality
- Comfortable using hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment
- Ability to safely lift and handle heavy stone materials as part of daily duties
- Willingness to work in a fabrication shop environment where dust, noise, and machinery are present
- Valid forklift certification (counterbalance) is required
