Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service. This role involves preparing high-quality pizzas, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience in the food industry is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook pizzas using various methods to ensure optimal taste and presentation
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or during dine-in service
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is highly desirable; restaurant or kitchen experience in the food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as kneading dough or topping pizzas
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
- A positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a commitment to delivering quality food service
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
