Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Steel Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling steel components used across various construction and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality steel structures, and assemblies that meet precise specifications.

Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately fabricate steel components.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding. Mostly MIG & Stick
- Use plasma cutting tools, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and welders
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment safely to move heavy steel pieces during fabrication and assembly processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years experience in fabrication & welding
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with rigging procedures, crane operation, and forklift handling.
- Proficiency with grinders, safely operate various saws, iron worker and accurately read a tape measure.
- Strong measuring, layout & fab skills. Attention to detail is a must!
- CWB Shop - valid welding tickets required or ability to test.
- Reliable, punctual, safety oriented.
- Shop & Local Field work with paid Travel Time.
- Strong written & spoken English required.
- Reliable transportation to work required and must be located within the Surrey/Langley/Abbotsford vicinity
- Ability to work in small team environment as well as on your own.
