Job Description:
- Plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Handle project administration, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established schedules
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
- Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors.
Requirements:
- 5 years of heavy civil construction project management.
- Technical knowledge of construction, site-work and municipal infrastructure practices.
- Ability to read construction drawings, understand specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel.
- Ability to work as a team player, manage multiple priorities, and work in a fast -paced environment.
- Capability to independently prioritize multiple tasks in a logical order of importance.
- Must be organized, on time and precise.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Client focused with attention to detail.
- Have a Valid Driver’s License.
