We are currently seeking a Recruitment Consultant to support workforce operations and recruitment efforts across client locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring full shift coverage, maintaining strong worker engagement, and supporting end-to-end recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact between Career1, temporary workers, and clients
- Monitor daily attendance and shift coverage; address absences and arrange replacements promptly
- Source, screen, and onboard candidates for warehouse and industrial roles
- Conduct new hire orientations, safety briefings, and ensure all documentation is completed (ID, SIN, work permit, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, worker performance, and shift confirmations
- Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and candidate availability
- Proactively resolve worker concerns and maintain a positive work environment
- Provide regular updates to clients on staffing levels and performance
- Update recruitment activities in ATS (e.g., Zoho Recruit) and internal systems
- Assist with timesheet collection and verification for payroll
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or workforce coordination (industrial/warehouse experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ATS platforms (Zoho Recruit is an asset)
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is required
- Bilingual skills are an asset but not required
