ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Position Summary
St. Vital Skin is a dermatology clinic seeking a reliable, hard-working, and professional medical office assistant (MOA) to grow with our clinic. The MOA will support clinicians to maintain organized and efficient clinic flow. The MOA is often the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and respected.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Checking in patients
· Answering phones
· Booking appointments
· Assisting with procedures/exams as required
· Ensuring all exam rooms are clean and adequately stocked after each patient
· General reception duties (stocking, filing, managing phones, faxing, emails, etc.)
· Developing standard operating procedures
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Required qualifications:
· Medical Office Assistant certificate or 2+ years (full-time) of experience working as a medical office assistant
· Excellent customer service skills
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred:
· Experience working with LibreMD
· Medical Device Reprocessing certification
Remote work: No
For their own safety and the safety of patients, medical office assistants must be up to date with vaccinations to operate in this position.
