Barber Collins security is looking for four full time Security Guard to work at a clients facility in Brampton, ON at a food facility.
Those who have access to their own personal vehicle will be preferred.
Shifts:
Week 1 (36 hours): Friday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6 am to 6 pm
Week 2 (48 hours): Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6 am to 6 pm
- 12 hours shifts
- Day shift
- Every second weekend
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the interior and exterior of the facility.
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
- Access control for the facility/area.
- Ensuring that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
- Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Trained Security Guard with a diploma in a related field.
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones.
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.

Pay: $18.30 per hour
