We are looking for a passionate and experienced Tea Sommelier to join our team on a temporary or freelance.
We are developing an exciting new tea project and are looking for someone with a strong understanding of tea blending, flavor profiles, color, aroma, and sensory evaluation.what can
Responsibilities:
- Create and refine tea blends.
- Recommend ingredients and flavor combinations.
- Evaluate teas based on taste, aroma, color, and overall sensory characteristics.
- Provide guidance on tea varieties, origins, processing methods, and brewing techniques.
- Participate in tasting sessions and support new product development.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Tea Sommelier or equivalent expertise in tea.
- Strong knowledge of tea blending and formulation.
- Excellent understanding of tea flavors, aromas, colors, and sensory evaluation.
- Passion for tea innovation and product development.
- Ability to work independently on a temporary or freelance basis.
- Experience developing new tea blends is highly desirable.
- Must be located in the Montreal area or within a reasonable commuting distance outside the island of Montreal. If you are passionate about tea and enjoy creating unique, well-balanced blends, we'd love to hear from you.
