About Us
Musicworks Canada is a growing music academy dedicated to providing high-quality music education across Alberta and British Columbia. We offer lessons for students of all ages from toddlers to adults in a wide range of instruments, including piano, guitar, violin, drums, brass/woodwinds, voice, ukulele, and music theory.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking passionate and engaging Music Instructors to join our in-studio teaching team.
Position Overview
We are looking for instructors who are enthusiastic about teaching and committed to supporting students in their musical journey. This role involves working with students of varying ages and skill levels in a positive, structured, and encouraging studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person music lessons to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels with a focus on music theory
- Foster a supportive, motivating, and enjoyable learning atmosphere
- Track and communicate student progress and lesson plans with front desk staff
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth scheduling and a positive student experience
Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to teach at least one musical instrument
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with students of all ages
- RCM certification, equivalent training, or post-secondary education in music
Assets (Preferred):
- Previous teaching experience
- Ability to teach multiple instruments
- Reliable transportation (for instructors teaching at multiple locations)
