Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealership settings or automotive repair, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and proficiency with hand and power tools. This role involves restoring vehicles by removing dents and dings without damaging the original paint, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities
- Perform paintless dent repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring high-quality results.
- Use specialized hand tools and power tools to access and carefully manipulate dented panels.
- Assess damage and determine the most effective repair techniques.
- Work with dealership or insurance company representatives to ensure proper documentation and customer communication.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Assist with related automotive repair tasks as needed, including minor mechanical work or component replacements.
- Heavy lifting may be required when handling vehicle parts or equipment, following proper safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience or extensive automotive repair background preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and repairs, including dent removal techniques.
- Experience working with mechanic tools, hand tools, and specialized PDR equipment is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
