We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Kitchen/Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. We are a Family owned and operated Vietnamese restaurant. We have been open for over 15 years serving the beautiful community of Cedarbrae!
This role involves providing exceptional food service to guests while assisting in food preparation and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Assist with food preparation, including meal assembly and plating
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking and food handling tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and kitchen areas
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent customer service
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Follow all health regulations and safety procedures during service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Vietnamese speaking is an asset but not needed
- Knowledge of serving, food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- A positive attitude with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction
