Pink Moon Cafe food truck is currently seeking a highly detailed oriented deep cleaner for 1-2 keyholder/closing shifts per week. We are a fully plant based food truck located in North Courtenay, operating daily from 10-4. This position is ideal for someone looking for casual, supplementary evening work, offering about 10-15 hours weekly.
This role is more than just a dish washing position. We are seeking someone very detail oriented with experience in deep cleaning tasks, and the ability to work efficiently, confidently and independently.
The ideal candidate would be responsible for duties such as:
- deep cleaning the oven/stovetop
- organizing and cleaning out the fridges/freezer
- pulling out equipment to clean behind/sides of equipment
- hand wash/rinse/sanitize used dishware daily
- washing windows and sills inside and out
- deep cleaning walls/ceilings/hard to reach areas of the truck
- hand scrubbing floors and baseboards
- sanitizing and flushing the fresh and grey water tanks
- there is thankfully NO deep fryer in our food truck :)
Wage is very much dependent on skill set. The position will likely start out in the $20-$23 hourly range plus a share of tips once trained, with room for growth here.
