Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest requests or concerns promptly
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse guests
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous but training will be provided
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and transaction processing
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality or the food industry helps in delivering exceptional guest services and upselling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining a positive attitude
