As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving new business growth while maintaining and expanding existing client relationships. Reporting directly to the Manager of Recruitment, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating qualified leads, meeting with prospective clients, and promoting Recruiting in Motion's staffing and recruitment solutions.
This position is ideal for a true sales hunter who enjoys both outbound prospecting and face-to-face relationship building. You'll be empowered to develop your territory, create new opportunities, and benefit from an uncapped commission structure that rewards performance.

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Combination of office-based sales activities and client visits throughout the Lower Mainland
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, social media, and prospecting activities
- Schedule and conduct in-person and virtual meetings with prospective clients
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow market share across Western Canada
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, HR professionals, and business leaders
- Identify staffing and recruitment opportunities across multiple industries
- Present Recruiting in Motion's staffing and recruitment solutions to prospective clients
- Collaborate closely with recruitment teams to ensure successful client delivery and service excellence
- Manage and grow existing client accounts while identifying opportunities for expansion
- Attend networking events, industry functions, and business development meetings
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and client communications within CRM systems
- Support special projects and strategic growth initiatives as required
- Post-secondary diploma or university degree, combined with relevant sales experience
- Minimum 2 years of business development, inside sales, outside sales, or account management experience
- Previous B2B sales and/or professional services sales experience is required
- Proven success generating new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-up and attention to detail
- Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications
- A self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset
- Professional presence and confidence meeting with business owners, hiring managers, and decision-makers
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local client meetings
- Experience within recruitment, staffing, HR, or workforce solutions is considered a strong asset
We're looking for a sales professional who thrives on creating new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing business. You are comfortable picking up the phone, meeting clients in person, and developing long-term partnerships. Most importantly, you have a proven track record in B2B and/or professional services sales and are motivated by both base salary stability and uncapped earning potential.
- Competitive base salary of $40,000 – $55,000 annually, depending on experience
