Medical Office Administrator / Medical Secretary

We are a busy, patient-focused urology practice seeking an organized, professional, and compassionate Medical Office Administrator / Medical Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our clinic while providing exceptional service to our patients and referring physicians.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience.
- Schedule clinic appointments, procedures, and surgical bookings.
- Manage incoming referrals and coordinate consultations.
- Answer and triage telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Prepare, scan, and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Process correspondence, consult notes, and reports.
- Liaise with hospitals, referring physicians, and allied healthcare providers.
- Assist with OHIP billing and general administrative duties.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Office Administrator or Medical Secretary is required.
- Experience working in a surgical specialty clinic (urology, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Experience using Accuro EMR is highly desirable.
- Previous training or experience with Epic is considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
