Overview
We're looking for a commercial carpenter with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in framing, finishing and renovation work to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, masonry, and renovation projects. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse commercial projects, utilizing a wide range of skills such as blueprint reading, concrete forming, and installation of building components. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.
What we're looking for
- 5–10 years of commercial or residential carpentry experience — framing, structural, and/or finish work
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and framing standards
- Ability to read construction drawings and work independently with minimal direction
- Experience leading or coordinating a framing crew is a strong asset
- Proficient with all standard carpentry tools (circular saws, nail guns, levels, squares, etc.)
- Valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle — required
- Punctual, dependable, and takes pride in the quality of their work
