Responsibilities

- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled according to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Help train new kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Stay updated on current trends in sushi making and Japanese cuisine to enhance menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with sushi-making techniques are highly desirable.
