We are seeking a Part-Time Experienced Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Taking and accurately entering guest orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serving food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Providing excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests
- Handling cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assisting with food preparation when necessary and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Managing time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, especially within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and making change accurately
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to work part-time hours reliably, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required
- A friendly demeanor with guest-focused attitude and teamwork orientation
