Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits LTD is a vertically-integrated company that owns vineyards, wineries and distribution operations, and is one of the largest integrated wineries in Canada. We currently own four wineries – three in Niagara and one in beautiful British Columbia.
We are seeking a Bottling Line Operator for our Niagara-on-the-Lake location. The Bottling Line Operator is a skilled role responsible for operating and overseeing bottling lines to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality packaging operations. This position supports the team in all aspects of line setup, production, and documentation while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain bottling lines, including sanitation and quality checks
Carry out preventative maintenance on packaging equipment
Oversee and direct line staff to ensure safe, efficient operations
Inspect packaged products for quality; make corrective adjustments as needed
Move and stage raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
Complete daily production reports and assist with inventory management
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanically inclined and comfortable with production equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Willing to learn and assist across all areas of the packaging process
Working Environment
Indoor industrial setting on the bottling floor, trailer
Frequent interaction with winemakers, bottling staff, cellar staff, and management
Physically demanding: standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials, working in tight spaces
Seasonal work may include basic cellar duties and varied shift schedules
Operator shifts are staggered: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with occasional afternoon or extended shifts as needed to meet production demand.
