We are a growing, modern dental practice in Markham that has proudly served our community for the past two years. Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming and supportive environment. As our patient base continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on alternating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments
- Provide scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, and oral hygiene instruction
- Take and interpret radiographs as required
- Educate patients on preventive oral health care
- Accurately chart and maintain patient records
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure excellent patient care
- Maintain infection prevention and sterilization protocols in accordance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dental hygiene experience preferred
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
- Experience with Dentrix is considered an asset
