Business Development & Sales Manager – Residential & Commercial Renovations
Venusina Homes is seeking a highly motivated, trustworthy, and results-driven Business Development & Sales Manager to help grow our residential and commercial renovation division across York Region and the GTA.
This is a field-based, commission-only opportunity ideal for an ambitious sales professional who is confident generating leads through networking, in-person outreach, relationship building, site visits, and strategic business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate is polished, professional, self-managed, and capable of representing our company with integrity while closing profitable renovation and construction projects. This role requires strong communication skills, confidence in face-to-face interactions, and the ability to build long-term client relationships with homeowners, business owners, property managers, realtors, and commercial clients.
You will work closely with company leadership, estimators, subcontractors, and project teams to help secure and grow high-quality renovation projects throughout the GTA.
Responsibilities
- Generate new residential and commercial renovation opportunities through:
- In-person outreach
- Networking
- Door-to-door/business visits
- Referrals
- Relationship building
- Community engagement
- Conduct client meetings, initial consultations, and site visits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, business owners, property managers, realtors, and commercial decision-makers
- Present renovation solutions professionally and confidently
- Collaborate with company leadership to prepare estimates, proposals, and project scopes
- Negotiate and close profitable renovation contracts
- Maintain organized follow-up and client communication throughout the sales cycle
- Assist in expanding the company’s presence across York Region and the Greater Toronto Area
- Coordinate with project management and construction teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
- Represent the Venusina Homes brand with professionalism, honesty, and strong customer service
- Identify strategic partnership and referral opportunities
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in:
- Construction sales
- Renovation sales
- Real estate
- Business development
- Outside sales
- Home improvement sales
- Commercial sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with in-person prospecting and field sales
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation required
- Ability to understand renovation and construction projects is a major asset
- Experience with CRM systems or sales tracking tools is an asset
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to grow income through performance
Compensation
- Commission-based compensation with uncapped earning potential
- High-performing candidates can realistically earn $100,000–$250,000+ annually

Pay: $80,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
