Job Title: Survey Party Chief

Job position description: As a Survey Party Chief, we are looking for an individual who is capable of conducting legal surveys, construction layout surveys, and is capable of effectively communicating with other team members and members of the public. The salary for this position will be based on the candidate’s skill and experience.

Desired skills and experience:
· Ideally three (3) to five (5) years of demonstrable field experience as a Survey Party Chief.
· Clean driver’s abstract with a valid G driver’s license.
· Ability to effectively communicate with members of the public, clients, and other team members.
· Strong skills using GNSS technology.
· Strong skills using robotic Total Stations and ability to conduct one man survey operation
· Field note preparation
· Topographic Surveys
· Cadastral Surveys
· Construction Layout
· Geodetic Control Network Surveys
· Experience using terrestrial LiDAR System is an advantage
· Ability to work alone or in a team environment
· The ability to demonstrate problem solving skills under pressure
Education
· Diploma or Degree from either Geomatics or Civil Technician/Engineering programs will be preferred
Expectations
· Work on out-of-town assignments and night shifts occasionally.
· Ability to lift 50lbs.
· Working outdoors under various weather conditions.
