Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments
- Handle cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to increase sales
- Conduct product demos when necessary to educate customers about features and benefits
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times
- Demonstrate phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth store operations
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic math for transaction accuracy
- Ability to perform product demos and upselling techniques effectively
- Organizational skills for maintaining tidy displays and managing inventory levels
- Time management skills to handle multiple customers efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent phone etiquette for remote customer interactions
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Multilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Technical sales experience or knowledge of merchandising can be advantageous
Pay: $17.65-$18.00 per hour
