Job Description
We are currently hiring an experienced Material Handler / Forklift Operator for one of our clients in Concord, ON. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating different types of forklifts and performing material handling duties in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
- Receive, store, and organize inventory
- Prepare and stage materials for shipping and production
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience operating multiple types of forklifts
- Previous material handling and warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification/license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
