Position Overview
As a Journeyperson Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and alignment of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. Working alongside skilled trades professionals, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) or Registered Apprentice
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance, shutdown, or construction environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, and technical documentation
- Commitment to safe work practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
Required Safety Certifications
Preference will be given to applicants with current:
- Fall Protection
- Confined Space Entry
- Aerial Work Platform (AWP) / Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)
- Other industrial site-specific safety training is considered an asset
