Job Description – Assistant Manager
Hours of Work – able to work a flexible schedule at a minimum of 37.5 hours a week. The Assistant Manager’s schedule will typically be evenings and weekends; they will work around the manager’s schedule.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of this role is to provide exceptional customer service to our customers, maintain a clean and organized store/work space. To support the Store Manager in store operations, ultimately being able to manage the daily store operations when the Store Manager is absent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant Manager will be required to carry out the following duties within the store.
- Ensure all staff are following Company Policies & Procedures;
- Delegate tasks to team members
- Follow up to ensure the team has completed the required tasks for their shift.
- Daily paperwork;
- Execution and team follow-up of promotions;
- Ordering;
- Inventory Control;
- Waste Control;
- Finding other staff members to cover shifts in the event of sickness or other absence;
- Assist Store Manager in growing sales;
- Maintenance calls as approved by the Store Manager
- Listen and respond to customer complaints (escalating complaint to Store Manager if necessary);
- Training new & existing employees;
- Other duties are directed.

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
