Responsibilities:
- Plant and transplant trees in various locations
- Prepare planting sites by removing debris and weeds
- Dig holes and properly place trees in the ground
- Water and fertilize newly planted trees
- Prune and shape trees to promote healthy growth
- Monitor tree health and provide necessary care
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks as needed
Experience:
- Must have valid driver's license and be able to commute to work.
- Previous experience in tree planting or landscaping preferred
- Knowledge of different tree species and their planting requirements
- Familiarity with proper tree care techniques, including pruning and fertilizing
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects
- Attention to detail to ensure trees are planted correctly and cared for properly
