Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing food and beverage orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, hospitality standards, and effective time management to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as a bartender
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food handling and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness
- Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork skills
- Must be 19 years or older to serve alcohol responsibly
