Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages promptly.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and beverages.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Perform bussing duties to maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food preparation and service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and basic math skills.
Experience
- Minimum 6 months of previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
