Your future role on our team
Join BBA and play an active role in administering and developing our total rewards programs. You’ll report to the Senior Advisor, Total Rewards, and work closely with the Human Resources and Finance teams as well as managers. You’ll participate in analyses, total rewards cycles and implementing practices that are competitive, fair and aligned with the firm’s objectives. You’ll help attract, engage and retain talent in Canada, the United States and Latin America. You’ll also support activities for employee benefits and the retirement savings plan.

- Help administer and develop total rewards programs in a multinational environment across Canada, the United States and Latin America
- Help manage annual total rewards cycles, including raises, salary reviews, premium programs and salary planning
- Work on developing, implementing and monitoring salary structures, incentive programs and other total rewards components
- Perform job evaluations, help maintain classification structures and provide salary recommendations based on analysis, taking into account market conditions and regulatory requirements for each country
- Participate in salary surveys, benchmarking exercises and market analyses to assess the competitiveness of the organization’s total rewards practices
- Support activities related to maintaining pay equity and ensuring total rewards programs comply with legislation and internal policies
- Serve as a resource for local HR business partners and managers to support the consistent implementation of total rewards programs and practices across international operations
- Work with the Human Resources, Payroll and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and that total rewards processes run smoothly
- Produce and analyze total rewards reports, dashboards and performance indicators while ensuring data integrity in HR systems
- Participate in various projects for total rewards, employee benefits and improving policies, procedures and work tools

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, industrial relations, business administration, actuarial science or equivalent
- Four to eight years of experience in total rewards
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and HR information systems, as well as excellent proficiency with other IT tools and technological systems
- Demonstrated soft, communication and client services skills
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- Asset: knowledge of group insurance and retirement plans
- Asset: knowledge of the Maconomy ERP system
- Asset: basic Spanish skills to facilitate collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients in South America; you may need to use Spanish occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
