Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, providing excellent customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, and delivering a positive experience to our guests. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food safety procedures such as proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
- Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth restaurant flow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
