Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our bustling dining establishment. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage POS systems for order processing and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Monitor daily restaurant operations, including customer service, cleanliness, and adherence to health standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Supervise food service activities, including serving guests and managing barista or kitchen staff as needed.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Implement operational policies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Foster a positive team environment through leadership and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality roles, with supervising experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling experience is required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in food industry settings including food service, kitchen operations, or hotel environments is desirable.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and oversee daily restaurant functions.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and hospitality best practices.
- Previous experience in interviewing and training staff members is a plus.
